Who founded Day for Night?

Before Day for Night, Afra had founded the Houston publication Free Press Houston in 2003 and co-founded Free Press Summer Fest in 2009. Day for Night took a different format: a December festival built around light installations and visual art shown alongside music performances.

The Houston Chronicle profiled Afra and the festival's origins in December 2017. Consequence of Sound named Day for Night its Festival of the Year in 2017.
