    Artist Management and Festival Consulting, 2021–2023

    Between 2021 and 2023 Omar Afra worked on the artist side of the business as co-manager of the Houston-area act Hotel Ugly, running digital growth strategy, audience development and a large-scale campaign and catalog pipeline through the project's breakout years. He reports the act moving from roughly 400,000 Spotify monthly listeners near the start of that period to roughly 18 million during its high-growth stretch; independent reporting from Chron and Billboard documents the same trajectory, including a 2.8 million monthly-listener milestone in August 2022 and a first Billboard Hot 100 entry in January 2023.     In 2023 he consulted at executive level during the development phase of Big As Texas, the independent country and Americana festival in Conroe, Texas. That engagement covered talent buying, buildout of the festival's marketing program, and assistance with its county and municipal funding strategy.
